TF-OHMAT heating mats form an intelligent anti-icing system for outdoor areas. They ensure safe, ice- and snow-free surfaces, eliminating the need for time-consuming snow shoveling. Ideal for driveways, sidewalks, and outdoor areas , they ensure dry, non-slip surfaces, thus increasing safety in winter.
Features & Benefits
- Effective heating of sidewalks and driveways
- Protection from snow and ice – automatic control only when needed
- Operation with 230 V
- Installation directly under paving, paving slabs, asphalt or concrete screed
- Powerful: 300 W/m²
- Lengths: 2 m to 32 m , flexibly adjustable
- Easy installation by cutting the mounting straps (without damaging the cable)
- Robust construction with two-core heating cable, copper shielding and reinforced outer sheath
installation
Depending on the substrate, TF-OHMAT heating mats are installed in a layer of sand (under paving, asphalt, or paving slabs) or directly in the concrete (in concrete screed). The heating system should be combined with a suitable controller to enable automatic control via temperature and humidity sensors.
Security
- Installation by qualified personnel recommended
- Operation only with residual current device ≤ 30 mA
- Extension of the power cable with shrink sleeve possible
Insulating pads
Insulating pads
For safe and efficient use, we recommend the special TERMOFOL insulation underlays:
Superterm (120 × 80 cm, approx. 400 kPa)
- Standard solution for living spaces
- Heat and moisture protection
- Prevents mold growth
Ultraterm (120 × 60 cm, approx. 700 kPa)
- Higher compressive strength for more heavily loaded surfaces
- Even better heat distribution and energy efficiency
- Also ideal for commercial spaces
Both underlays comply with the standard PN-EN 16354:2018 , are fire-retardant and have a thermal conductivity of λ = 0.035 W/m·K .

Which performance for which needs?
60 W/m² are used as comfort or supplementary heating. They are suitable for very well-insulated buildings , reach a maximum temperature of 29 °C , and are ideal for bedrooms or living rooms where the heating only provides support.
80 W/m² provide comfort heating in well-insulated buildings . With a maximum temperature of 32 °C, they are ideal for children's rooms or hallways.
140 W/m² is intended for use as primary heating , especially in buildings with average insulation . They reach a maximum temperature of 42 °C and are suitable for living spaces such as living rooms, offices, or kitchen-diners.
Matching vinyl
Matching vinyl
We also offer vinyl flooring that can be optimally combined with the heating foil :
- Only use vinyl approved for underfloor heating (follow manufacturer's instructions).
- Max. temperature exposure: 27–28 °C (standardized recommendation).
- Recommended thickness: 3–5 mm click vinyl (SPC or rigid vinyl) .
- Do not use soft foam vinyls – they inhibit heat conduction.
- Minimum requirement: suitability for underfloor heating according to EN standards to prevent the floor from warping.
This ensures that the floor and heating foil work together perfectly.
