Substrate preparation

The substrate must be clean, dry, solid and free of efflorescence, dust and loose parts or release agents (e.g. formwork oil). Dirty or sandy surfaces must be cleaned over the entire surface, depending on the substrate, by washing, brushing or high-pressure cleaning. When cleaning with water, ensure that the substrate is sufficiently dry. For critical substrates, carry out a tensile adhesion test.

Processing/Assembly

MIG-ESP Sealing Primer is ready to use. After stirring thoroughly, apply undiluted with a lambskin roller, brush or suitable spray tool and allow to dry. For highly absorbent surfaces, a second coat "wet on wet" is required. The object and ambient temperature must not be below + 5°C and not above +35°C. Before subsequent work can begin, it must be ensured that the primed surface is sufficiently dry. The drying time under normal conditions (+ 20°C/ 65% relative humidity) is around 12 hours. Lower temperatures and higher relative humidity extend the drying time.

consumption

MIG-ESP Sealing Primer is applied undiluted. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate and the application method chosen, consumption is approx. 0.15-0.25 L/m². Exact consumption quantities can be determined by creating test areas.

General information

Do not mix with other materials. Cover adjacent components well or protect them against splashes. Clean tools thoroughly with water after use. The containers must be completely emptied and recycled.

In case of doubt regarding processing, substrate or constructional features, request advice. Otherwise, the provisions of the current standards apply.

storage

Can be stored dry, frost-free and cool under proper conditions in the original sealed containers for at least 12 months from the date of sale.
